Morning language exchanges
​Morning language exchanges are an informal opportunity to practice your English/French over a cup of coffee. Language Exchange meets every Thursday morning for an hour, starting at 9:30 am.
Game Nights
Discover classic and new games in English and French! Let your competitive side shine with a fun-filled monthly game night hosted by fellow members!
"Mums only" night out
The mums, mamas, madres, and mamans of Crossroads all meet for a monthly night out! This is a great chance to let your hair down and skip out on the grind of the bedtime routine.
Coffee mornings
Crossroads coffee mornings are all about meeting old friends and making new ones, over a hot cuppa and some delicious croissants. We meet the first Tuesday of every month at a centrally located coffee shop in Fontainebleau. Everyone is welcome! As they say "Coffee and Friends make the perfect blend".
Playgroup
The playgroup meets every Friday at 9:30 am to 11:30 am and caters to children from birth to 3 years. It is a good opportunity for babies to have fun and a welcome chance for adults to chat over coffee. Feel free to drop in, we look forward to meeting you all!
Toddlers and troops
The toddlers and troops meet every Wednesday for outside open play, in and around Fontainebleau. This group is for children ages 3+ to get together and explore different areas and make new friends.
Book Club
The Book Club was started around 30 years ago (in 1988) and has met regularly since. Some of us have been there from the beginning but we always welcome new members.
We read one book a month and meet together one afternoon to discuss it over coffee and cake.
Crossroads Writers Club
The Crossroads Writers Club provides a monthly opportunity for writers to share their work, ask for feedback, and support each other’s efforts. The eleven current members write both fiction and non-fiction—romance, humor, young adult, science fiction, memoirs, and poetry.

Needlework
The needlework group welcomes new and old members whether you are a beginner or ‘old hand’. It's easy to learn new things with kind coaches: crocheting or knitting or embroidery, sewing, quilting, mending ..., help and friendly advice are to be found there!
Fitness in Nature
Join us every Thursday evening, and the last Sunday morning of every month (hours susceptible to change in winter) to venture into nature. It’s the perfect chance to recharge, get moving, and release some energy while enjoying the fresh air and beauty of the outdoors.
Evening Drinks
Come and join us for a drink and explore new bars in and around Fontainebleau. We also do karaoke, salsa, and other themed outings. This is an adults-only event. Cheers!
